I graduated from the University of Auckland with a Masters degree in Audiology (first class honours) in 2007 following my conjoint undergraduate bachelor’s degree in Science and Arts. I have always had a keen passion for working with people, hence my interest in working in a clinical setting such as Audiology. This combined with the technical aspects of Audiological diagnostic equipment, and the various hearing devices and accessories that are ever-changing in the industry, has only seen my passion for this profession grow over the years. Originally starting my career in a split position between a Private Practice and Tauranga Hospital, I soon realised my strong desire to work with predominantly adults in the private sector. My expertise now lie in adult diagnostic audiology and auditory rehabilitation through counselling and device fitting.
Along with being a clinical audiologist I also assume the Regional Manager role of our HearingLife Bay of Plenty (BOP) clinics. As much as I enjoy working with our clients, I also thoroughly enjoy working with everyone in the HearingLife Team, particularly the New Graduates coming out of University and embarking on their own audiology career. I have a keen interest in Supervision and Guidance and you will often find me in clinic with a student strapped to my side! I am a member of the New Zealand Audiological Society (NZAS) and have served on their Executive Council for the past 4 years, assuming the Presidents role in 2014/2015. Currently I am secretary/treasurer of the NZAS.

I graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Psychology. Following this, I began my journey in Audiology at the University of Canterbury Masters Programme, through which I graduated with distinction in 2013. I happily received the University’s Masters Scholarship awarded for academic merit during my post-graduate study. Since graduating I have enjoyed working full-time as an audiologist in the Bay of Plenty.
I get great satisfaction from sharing my knowledge about hearing and hearing impairment with the community, and working with a diverse range of clients from 3 – 103 years of age! I love what I do because I have the opportunity every day to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Helping hearing impaired people hear better is so rewarding and I feel very grateful for this.
I grew up in Christchurch and moved to Tauranga at the beginning of 2014. I was recently married in the Bay of Plenty, and enjoy spending most of my weekends adventuring in the outdoors with my husband, friends and family, making the most of the warmer climate!

I completed a Master of Audiology degree at the University of Canterbury in 2015. Following this, I moved from Christchurch to the sunny Bay of Plenty to start my career as an audiologist for HearingLife in Tauranga.
I love meeting new people every day and finding solutions to fit each individual. I feel very privileged to be in a position where I can improve the quality of people’s lives by helping them to hear better and communicate more easily with loved ones.

Originally from Bay of Plenty, I am happy to return home after graduating with a masters of audiology degree from the University of Auckland in 2017.
I entered this field to help maximise awareness around hearing wellbeing and minimising barriers associated with seeking and getting help. I have found great passion in joining individuals on a journey from isolation to inspiration.
My recent degree means I am in a great position to provide a service based on the most up to date information and research.
