I became an Audiologist out of a desire to help people. For over two decades now, I have been improving the quality of peoples’ lives through better communication and information about their hearing and associated issues, such as Tinnitus.
I studied as an undergraduate at the University of Waikato, majoring in psychology and then did my Master of Audiology degree at the Auckland School of Medicine in Grafton. I have worked in the public hospital system where, working closely with ENT Specialists, I developed a sound knowledge and understanding of ear pathology and its management and I have worked privately, where I have augmented my knowledge of the fitting and trouble shooting of hearing aids.
I have been employed by HearingLife since 2013, working principally at the Epsom Clinic, but also at the Milford clinic. I enjoy working at HearingLife as my work practice of putting people first and endeavouring to deliver the best outcome for my clients, aligns well with the company’s philosophy.
