Ian Spargo

I have been a practising Audiometrist for the last 15 years and joined HearingLife after the sale of my clinics to HearingLife in 2013. My main clinic is Green Bay and I also work at other clinics when required.
I hold a Diploma in Audiometry from TAFE in Sydney and am currently a provisional Audiometrist member of NZAS, I am also a member of ANZAI –Association of New Zealand Audiology Incorporated.
My varied experiences in Audiology over the years has enabled me to deliver a high level of service to my clients, this in turn enables them to reach their goals in hearing and bring sound to life.

Diem Smith

I graduated from the University of Auckland with a Master of Audiology Degree in 2000 and have been practising audiology for over 17 years. Shortly after I obtained my clinical practising certificate and I am an accredited assessor.
After graduating I worked in the public hospital system with children and adults in diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology. I continued to specialise in paediatrics while working in London before returning home to NZ where I worked for a hearing aid manufacturer. I realised then how much I missed clinical work and returned to the clinic environment where I worked with children and adults in both diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology for 5 years.
I joined the HearingLife Team in 2014 because I wanted to work with a team of clinicians who are just as passionate as me about helping hearing impaired people reconnect with their loved ones and the world around them. Knowing I can make a difference for the hearing impaired person and their families is what drives my passion to help people hear better.
