My origin is Sri Lankan, I was born and raised in Italy, and can speak three languages. I started working as an Audiologist in New Zealand at the end of 2016 after moving from London. I completed my Masters in Audiological Science at the University College of London and worked for a year as a registered Audiologist for the National Health Service.
Having worked in a University Hospital linked with the ENT department, I have been involved in a wide range of specialist Audiological and Balance services. This focus has given me experience in working with both children and adults with complex hearing and communicative disorders.
I truly enjoy working as an Audiologist, as I feel that helping individuals to overcome the challenges of hearing loss and reach their goals is incredibly rewarding. I feel it is important to understand each individual’s needs and lifestyle, as hearing loss affects everyone in different ways and it certainly has an impact on everyday life. It gives me great satisfaction guiding each individual on their journey to better hearing.
